“Harem Cult” is a dark and provocative adult anime that delves into the morally ambiguous lives of high school students who use manipulation and deceit to achieve their goals.
The story begins with Shoko Shimura, a member of the photography club, who secretly records compromising footage of her peers to blackmail them. Her actions catch the attention of Yuichi Tatsumi, who confronts her but soon finds himself targeted as well. The situation escalates when Hajime Hatorishima, the school’s enforcer, intervenes, exposing Shoko’s misdeeds and declaring his intent to “punish” her.
In the second part of the story, the focus shifts to Sou Akahori, the captain of the track and field team, who uses her position to engage in illicit activities. Yuichi, determined to expose her, secretly records her actions, leading to a cascade of revelations that unravel the dark secrets of the school.
