The dwarf chieftain, Ohendeck, finally agrees to experience the hot spring built by Kouzou. He joins the communal mixed-gender bath, where he is immediately struck by the incredible quality and relaxing properties of the mystical water. However, his tranquility is short-lived. His peace shatters the moment he notices Mayutama’s fox ears and tail, revealing her true kitsune nature. Completely astonished and realizing he has been bathing with a powerful forest spirit without showing the proper respect, Ohendeck erupts into a flustered panic. He scrambles out of the spring to immediately offer a deep, formal bow of apology, overwhelmed by a mix of reverence for her status and embarrassment at his own oversight. The episode blends ecchi comedy with the protagonist’s ongoing mission to spread the joy of onsen culture, even to the most skeptical of guests.
