Shoji, Minami, and Kana arrive at the fireworks festival, relieved to have dodged the tabloid’s pursuit. While exploring the stalls, Kana runs into a friend from preschool and begs to hang out together. The friend’s understanding parents offer to watch Kana, leaving Shoji and Minami free to enjoy the festival as a couple. Before the main fireworks begin, they slip away to a secluded shrine to play with sparklers. As the gentle light illuminates Minami’s face, Shoji’s affection overwhelms him, and he leans in for a tender kiss.
