Kaede Kasuga pores over a human anatomy book in the library, her fascination with male anatomy undimmed since her encounter with Kobayashi. Disappointed by the lack of erect illustrations, she stumbles upon a revelation: what she did with Kobayashi was sex. Walking home under one umbrella in the rain, she confesses this to a stunned Kobayashi, who suggests they stop. But Kaede, overwhelmed by her desire to experience it again, breaks into tears, her yearning clashing with his reluctance.
