Kaede and Kobayashi, once close enough to visit each other’s homes, have drifted apart. One morning, a near-late Kobayashi runs into Kaede but bolts, too shy to walk together. After school, he’s stuck cleaning the gym storage room as punishment—Kaede inexplicably joins him. Chatting about old times turns sour when Kobayashi recalls their past intimacy, and the mood sours further when they realize they’re locked in. As the heat rises, they shed jackets; Kobayashi’s heart races at Kaede’s matured chest. Amid the tension, Kaede admits she needs to pee, prompting Kobayashi to eye a nearby bottle, teetering between practicality and panic.
