Following his failure to hand over Fumino due to his burgeoning emotions, Junichiro is in dire straits. His mission is a disaster: his backers have cut him off, threatening to withdraw all support if he fails next time, and the F.S. has publicly branded him a “pervert,” plastering wanted posters of his penis all over town. Wracked with guilt and self-loathing over the worsening situation, a dejected Junichiro returns to the NLNS base. Seeing him in such a pitiful state, Nanase takes pity on him. She approaches the disgraced agent, offering not just words of comfort, but a very physical and intimate form of stress relief to help him forget his troubles and rekindle his fighting spirit through her own unique brand of “support.”
